We employ a variety of highly skilled craftsmen, in order to offer a comprehensive service to our clients and can deal with your whole project form start to finish.
We can carry out feasibility studies before you engage an architect for a variety of proposals. The cost of this will be reimbursed if you choose FOWLES developments for your project.
Once you are happy with our findings, we have a list of approved architects to assist you with planning stages and subsequent drawings and specifications.
We will contact all relevant authorities during the course of the contract and liaise with building control at each stage of the work on your behalf.
We will keep you informed of any cosmetic changes to the original drawings or specifications and we are extremely flexible should you decide to change aspects yourself.
Our tradesman are trained to work within Health and Safety Guidelines and a First Aider will always be assigned to any contract that employs over five persons at any one time.
FOWLES developments are always mindful of the fact that some families have to remain in the property whilst the work is being carried out. On these occasions, temporary facilities can be set up for your convenience, i.e. bathroom and kitchen facilities. We are also mindful of the fact that young children may be present and we will do all we can to ensure no harm will come to them either whilst we are on site or after we have left for the evening or weekend.
Once you have been granted planning permission or arranged a building notice, we will supply you with a schedule of works. This is for you to keep track of the progress. Each stage of works is listed and dated, making it very easy to see if the schedule is being upheld.
Payments are usually broken down into stages; these will be indicated on the schedule to give you ample time to arrange fund transfers etc.
Upon completion of work, we usually minus 2.5% from the total quotation price. This sum is held by the client for 6 calendar months as retention. After that period, you will be contacted and any remedial works that may be required will be carried out. Only then will the finial 2.5% be invoiced.
All our works are covered by Public Liability Insurance.
