Our speciality is carpentry, FOWLES Developments is a carpentry based building company, so timber based products and projects are our area of expertise.

We are proud to say that there is nothing we are unable to achieve if the base material is timber.

All other materials associated with today’s contemporary design can be included in order to achieve your desired look or design.

 

BUILDING, EXTENSIONS AND BRICKWORK:

FOWLES Developments are able to carry out all manner of extensions, timber framed and traditional brickwork.

From digging your foundations to applying the last coat of paint, we can supply every service.

Our tradesmen have excellent people skills and are polite and well humoured. They have vast experience in their fields and the finish in their work is unsurpassable.

LOFT CONVERSIONS:

Space is such a commodity and a luxury. It may not always be possible to extend or maybe you may not want to. Either way, a loft conversion may be the perfect solution.


FOWLES Developments have converted lofts into single studies and into 3 bedroom areas with a bathroom.

We are happy to provide a feasibility study if you have not yet enlisted an architect. This will be a 1:20 scale sketch depicting the amount of usable floor space that can be achieved. The cost of this study will be reimbursed if FOWLES Developments is chosen to carry out the work.

Once you are happy with the budget cost, we can supply you with an approved architect who can take you through the planning stages.

Once done we will provide you with an accurate

quotation. A work schedule will be provided once our quote has been accepted.

If however you have already been taken through the planning stage and your proposal accepted, we would be only too pleased to provide a quotation for your project.

REFURBISHMENTS:

FOWLES Developments have carried out a number of refurbishment projects.

Sometimes these are relatively small for example to remove load bearing walls to achieve an open plan room, to full scale refurbishment, which may entail removal of all internal walls, provide support and re-build the interior completely to a new specification.

FOWLES Developments take as much pleasure from small projects as we do from larger contracts. Smaller contracts are rewarding as we are often finished in 2 – 3 weeks, leaving our clients amazed by what can be achieved in such little time. On the other hand, the larger contract enables us to become part of your project, which evolves with us. In the end, it is with a great sense of pride and achievement that we can finally hand over your completed project.

BESPOKE FURNITURE AND KITCHENS:


FOWLES Developments are able to provide a fully comprehensive joinery service.

This can be provided on site or in our joinery shop either for free standing or on site Built-in furniture.

Occasionally Built-In furniture is manufactured in the workshop (oversized), and then fitted on site. This reduces the time spent on site and therefore the impact on our client’s home life.
We work in solid and veneered timbers and use a variety of species:
